I noticed that the same problem also occurs on Chrome Canary for Android on a Google Pixel. The exact version with the issue is: 71.0.3562.0 (Official Build) canary (32-bit), Android 9; Pixel Build/PPR2.180905.006 On Chrome Stable (69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (32-bit), Android 9; Pixel Build/PPR2.180905.006) it works just fine. I have attached screen recordings from the two browsers.

Is there anything I can do to help speed up the process of resolving this bug? I am worried that Chrome 70 is nearing its release date while the issue remains. Apart from Chrome OS, I have witnessed the same visual glitch on the following Android configurations, starting with Chrome 70: Google Chrome: 70.0.3538.32 (Official Build) beta (32-bit) Revision: 105e44c3102f4d8031a5a58c517de5b83cae1ad4-refs/branch-heads/3538@{#636} OS: Android 8.1.0; Nexus 5X Build/OPM7.181005.003 Google Play services: SDK=12848000; Installed=13280019; Access=1p JavaScript: V8 7.0.276.20 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 8.1.0; Nexus 5X) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.32 Mobile Safari/537.36 Google Chrome: 71.0.3571.0 (Official Build)canary (32-bit) Revision: b588fc0229844f0b6758d5ec481c152c891b6d9b-refs/branch-heads/3571@{#1} OS: Android 8.1.0; Nexus 5X Build/OPM7.181005.003 Google Play services: SDK=12848000; Installed=13280019; Access=1p JavaScript: V8 7.1.257 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 8.1.0; Nexus 5X) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3571.0 Mobile Safari/537.36 Google Chrome: 71.0.3571.0 (Official Build)canary (32-bit) Revision: b588fc0229844f0b6758d5ec481c152c891b6d9b-refs/branch-heads/3571@{#1} OS: Android 9; Pixel Build/PPR2.181005.003 Google Play services: SDK=12848000; Installed=13280037; Access=1p JavaScript: V8 7.1.257 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 9; Pixel) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3571.0 Mobile Safari/537.36
