OK, I see that it happens as soon as I type a comma after "chelamcherla@chromium.org". The comma key causes an automatic selection of the current autocomplete option.  Usually, that autocomplete option is the desired one, but here it is clearly wrong.

Closing this test issue so that it will not clutter up /p/chromium.
For future reference, we also have bugs-staging.chromium.org which can be used for testing.
