Headless mode fails if given --user-agent

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.92 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: $ chromium --user-agent XXX --headless --dump-dom http://example.com; echo $? 1 What is the expected behavior? The same as when one doesn't use --user-agent What went wrong? Adding --user-agent causes the whole command to fail with no output. Did this work before? Yes Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 69.0.3497.92 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version: In https://intoli.com/blog/not-possible-to-block-chrome-headless/ we observe it used to work.

jidanni@ Thanks for the issue. As the issue seems to be related to Headless chrome, adding appropriate label and requesting the respective team to look into this and help in further triaging. Thanks..

From comment#0 & #2 this seems to be an Headless related, hence adding label "TE-NeedsTriageHelp" and requesting someone from respective team to have a look into this and help in further triaging it. Thanks! |
