Links from Google News causes Chrome to crash

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Swipe the homepage to the left which opens some news (or click on the News app)
2. Click on any piece of news

What is the expected behavior?
Chrome opens without crashing

What went wrong?
Chrome crashes and closes quickly.

Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes

Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A 

Did this work before? Yes Not noted, but about 2 weeks ago

Does this work in other browsers? N/A

Chrome version: 71.0.3555.2  Channel: dev
OS Version: 8.1

Unable to reproduce this issue on reported version 71.0.3555.2, no crash is seen on navigating to news. 

@ivanhapv: Could you please provide screencast of the issue along with device details, also please provide 16 digit crash id from chrome://crashes. This would help in better triaging.
