trchen@ This is already fixed by a change of yours apparently. Not sure if it is related to SPV2 or should be merged. Please triage issue.

trchen@ has moved on from chromium work. I'm guessing that the fixing patch cannot be merged back to M-69, but maybe M-70 is possible. Assigning to pdr@ for an opinion.

Thanks for taking the time to file this with a small testcase. Because this is not a regression, and the fix is complex, I think we should not merge this early and should instead wait for this fix to roll out as part of the regular 6-week release cycle. I'll close this as "fixed" (pending release) but am happy to reopen if needed.
