Issue descriptionChrome Version: 71.0.3558.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit) OS Version: OS X 10.13.6 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open the People menu from the system menu bar. What is the expected result? All entries are enabled, it's possible to switch among profiles. What happens instead of that? All entries besides the current one are disabled (see screenshot).

Update: After some time, the other entries in the menu were re-enabled, and I was able to launch a new profile. Moments later, they were disabled again.

I wonder if this was caused by bde57febbd2f242decd807bcb869e0be0bf21069 from rsesek@. I do not repro this on 71.0.3556.0 or 71.0.3562.0. isherman@, do you see this with 71.0.3562.0?

I haven't yet seen it with today's Canary of 71.0.3563.0, but I'll keep an eye out for it. Feel free to close this out in the meantime if there's no further repro and no hunches on what might have been the cause.

No, I doubt it was bde57febbd2f242decd807bcb869e0be0bf21069, since the menu is controlled by this file: https://cs.chromium.org/chromium/src/chrome/browser/ui/cocoa/profiles/profile_menu_controller.mm and the AppController. Going to close this for now since I can't repro, but please reopen if you see it again. |
