Stable version updates aren't running

Issue descriptionStable version updates aren't working properly. Starting with the 2018-33 run (2018-08-14), you see this in the logs: Tue Aug 14 04:00:03 PDT 2018 Dry run: no changes will be made. Applying stable version changes: The "dry run" message means just that: We're now calculating the changes needed, but not actually applying those changes. Compounding matters: Starting with that same run, the e-mail for the job no longer goes out, so we're getting no notification of the problem. This problem is modestly urgent: If the update script doesn't run often enough, DUTs will start failing repair. The entire lab could go down overnight. Our only protection is that "often enough" is something like "every 6 months or so", but, really, that's no help...

The culprit is that we're looking for the old syntax of `atest server list`: http://cs/chromeos_public/src/third_party/autotest/files/contrib/run-stable-update?l=23&rcl=5658989793b6ada7a60d69f22de3f048b6c96770

My cl fix an old bug, but it looks like there's a new bug that prevents the update from running. |
