net_unittests failing on chromium.memory/Android CFI

Project Member Reported by sheriff-...@appspot.gserviceaccount.com, Sep 21

Issue description

Filed by sheriff-o-matic@appspot.gserviceaccount.com on behalf of liberato@chromium.org

net_unittests failing on chromium.memory/Android CFI

Builders failed on:
- Android CFI:
  https://ci.chromium.org/p/chromium/builders/luci.chromium.ci/Android%20CFI

Labels: OS-Android
Owner: ricea@chromium.org
=> ricea@ as websockets owner.

ssl_client_socket_unittest is failing with:

[ERROR:ssl_client_socket_unittest.cc(3451)] Could not decode private key file: /storage/emulated/0/chromium_tests_root/net/data/ssl/certificates/ok_cert.pem
../../net/socket/ssl_client_socket_unittest.cc:4683: Failure

on several tests (e.g., https://ci.chromium.org/p/chromium/builders/luci.chromium.ci/Android%20CFI/2991 )

i didn't see anythign obvious in the blame list. i also didn't see any changes to ssl in DEPS or to client_1.key . seems to be limited to CFI bot though. might be infra issue, but i know very little about websockets.

PTAL and re-assign if needed.

thanks!

After 2 consecutive failing runs, the bot now hasn't failed in 10+ runs. No related CL landed in the run after the second failing run AFAICT, so presumably this issue is still at large. However, it's not a sheriff issue at this point.

The failing tests have nothing to do with WebSockets.

Sending to rsleevi who I have observed handling similar problems in the past.

Removing Owner, resetting Triage status.

Seems very likely to be an Infra>Flakiness issue with the CFI bots. I don't think there's any plans to do anything from the >SSL side unless the issue manifests.
