Chromecasting only shows a blank screen since update

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 11021.19.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.22 Safari/537.36
Platform: 11021.19.0 (Official Build) beta-channel auron_yuna

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Chromecast desktop.  Artwork disappears but no casted image
2. Casting works with device running older ChromeOS so not a hardware issue with Chromecast
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
Cast the desktop

What went wrong?
Blank screen is casted

Did this work before? Yes 69

same issue with Acer Chromebook R11 since update to 70.
