In Default view of new Gmail, 'Open with Google Docs' option does not appear for file attachments.

Issue description

Chrome Browser Version: 69.0.3497.95(Official Build)(64-bit)
Chrome OS Version: 10895.56.0(Official Build) stable-channel-gnawty

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Sign-in to Gmail > Go to Settings > Set the Display Density to Default View
(2) Notice that mail attachments are displayed in the mail list view.
(3) Select an email having file attachments (.doc/.xls/.ppt/.pdf)
(3) Click on a file attachment > Notice the behaviour

What is the expected result?
Open with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides option should be present

What happens instead?
Open with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides option is missing on the first screen.
User has to click 'Open in new window' option from more actions button.
Then the second screen is launched in a new tab where 'Open with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides option is present.

Additional information-
In Compact/ Comfortable view of new Gmail, Open with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides option appears on the first screen itself when user clicks the file attachment.

This doesn't seem to be a Chrome bug, so I reported it internally under bug id 116349320.

Closing as per comment #2. Not a Chrome issue. Please use support.google.com (or Submit Feedback in the application) to report issues about google services.
