Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open a bookmark in a folder in TAB_1 using the bookmarks bar. 2. Go to TAB_2 using CONTROL+TAB or create TAB_2 using CMD + T. I’m mentioning keyboard shortcuts because it needs to be done quickly, but it can probably happen by simply using the mouse if you manage to be fast enough. 3. There is a small delay, and the bookmarked website then opens in TAB_2. TAB_1 is left unchanged. What is the expected behavior? There shouldn’t be any delay, if I click on bookmark in TAB_1, it should open in TAB_1 even if I moved to another tab before it started loading. What went wrong? Bookmarked website opens in TAB_2 instead of TAB_1, which is very confusing. Did this work before? Yes v68.x.x.x, I’m not sure – sorry, but it only started happening after the UI update. Chrome version: 69.0.3497.100 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.13.6 Flash Version: - This doesn’t happen when opening a bookmark directly on the bookmarks bar, it must be in a folder (no delay). - This doesn’t happen when opening the bookmark in a new tab using CMD + click (no delay).

Mhmmm, weird. Here’s two videos. First one reproducing the issue, second one showing the difference when trying with a regular bookmark (notice the delay when opening the one in a folder?)

If I can help with anything let me know… I know it’s probably not a bug impacting a lot of people but it’s still happening to me regularly and it’s quite annoying. I think the delay when opening a bookmark in a folder is the culprit, don’t you notice one on your machine?

bonniketom@ Thanks for the Feedback... As we are unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome 69.0.3497.100 using Mac 10.13.6 and 10.13.3 (Retina) and 10.13.1(Touch bar) and tried with incognito mode and normal browser. Hence requesting someone from UI>Browser>Bookmarks team to look into it for further investigating on this. @Reporter:Can you verify this issue with fresh profile that is not having any extensions and apps or reset all the flags. Thanks..!
