Status bar white, can't see icons

Device name:HTC One M9

From "Settings > About Chrome"
Application version:70.0.3538.17
Operating system:Android 7.0

URLs (if applicable):

Steps to reproduce:
(1)Open Chrome
(2)status bar is white, and Android UI icons are hidden (as they are also white)
(3)

Expected result:white status bar with black icons so they can be seen

Issue is resolved after a few patches. Currently on 70.0.3538.57
