checkbox is not working when NVDA is ON

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. create a checkbox 2. try to check and uncheck the box with enter and spacebar 3. try the same when NVDA is ON, Its not reading the check and uncheck options What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? when NVDA is ON, check and uncheck in checkbox is not happening in version 69 of google chrome by keyboard(Enter or Spacebar), but the same is done while using version 68 of google chrome by keyboard(Enter or Spacebar). Could you please help me with version 69 to work properly on checkbox Did this work before? Yes In version 68 of chrome browser it worked properly, but not working in 69 version of chrome browser Chrome version: 69.0.3497.100 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Kindly update the status as soon as possible. Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 69.0.3497.100 also on latest chrome 71.0.3557.0 using Windows 10. Same behavior is seen on M60(60.0.3112.113) hence considering it as non-regression and marking it as Untriaged. NOTE: Issue not seen on mac 10.13.6 using VoiceOver and issue specific to Windows Thanks!

This is because of the aria-live attribute is set to true the entire time. Therefore, the checkbox will always be exposed as on. Same as in Firefox. |
