Olga, can we rule out AudioStreams/Service/Process here?
rugnirtheviking@ - could you post here "variations" from chrome://version/?

Also could you confirm that Chrome appears in Volume Mixer and is not individually muted there?

Thanks!

Yes I can confirm that chrome is not muted in the sound mixer.
I am running a fresh install of chrome in the tests I am running, so no extentions or apps.

I have personally tested with internet and firefox on the same machine that encountered the issue, and found no similar problem.

Thank you rugnirtheviking@.

d01ab0d3-75dfaed is a control group of AudioService experiment, so it's not related.

Could you while playing audio:
Browse to chrome://media-internals and select the players tab.
Press "copy all to clipboard", then paste into a text file/doc.
Then select the audio tab and do the same.
Attach/link the doc to the bug.

Thanks!

rugnirtheviking: to confirm what you wrote in the report, does this happen with Chrome stable as well? (version 69).
Yes, I can confirm this happens in chrome stable.
As of the latest chrome canary (71.0.3559.1) - this issue appears to have been resolved. Unfortunaetly, it's not clear exactly what, if anything, changed to cause this issue to start/stop
Any reason to think this is machine/model specific?
rugnirtheviking@ have you seen it since then? If yes - could you provide the info per #8. Otherwise I'm going to close it as Won't fix, since there is no actionable info here unfortunately.
I'm having this issue on some specific sites of media on ex: YouTube, Received audio via facebook/messenger

alexsilvalhp@: is #14 the full log from chrome://media-internals?

Thanks! Have you restarted the browser between #23 and #25?
All audio statistics look healthy in #26, and the audio service seems to be running.

Thanks! Have you restarted the browser between #23 and #25?

A:No

The problem happens on some audios and videos on YouTube

It's intermitent and Happens on Microsoft Edge too

Firefox it's OK
Hi @olka finally I solve this "bug"

The problem its on new Windows 10 1809 build (october update)

They install a generic audio driver instead "Realtek drivers"

I installed Realtek drivers and works fine now :)

Anyway thanks for your assist.
