After starting tab cast, cannot type into page

Chrome Version: 69.0.3497.100
OS: Win10

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open a Google doc, type something
(2) Cast tab to a Hangout
(3) Now try to type in the doc; you can click on things but can't type

Note: Refreshing the page (while still tab casting) fixes the issue

What is the expected result?
Should be able to type

What happens instead?
Keystrokes aren't seen by the page

Was able to repro this specific scenario - should verify if it repros w/ Chromecast or other targets.  Google Docs only or other sites with editing?  Any further details on repro scenarios would be great.

I'm not able to repro this to a hangout or a Chromecast device.

I'm wondering if it could have anything to do with internal bug 116723057?

johnpallett@, does this still repro for you with Chrome 71?  Can you provide specific URLs that demonstrate the issue?

Please mark as Untriaged if you are able to repro so it goes back into our queue.
