Shelf set to auto-hide does not reveal when the mouse is near on certain scale factors. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: Reported in M69 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Scale the screen up or down (some scales do not repro). (2) Set the shelf the autohide. (3) Move mouse to the bottom of the screen to un auto-hide the shelf. What is the expected result? Shelf shows up What happens instead? Looks like we are not detecting the mouse being near the bezel. This only repros on certain scale factors, so maybe the code doesn't consider the scale factor? +manu for shelf, + vlad and min for autohide (not sure which of you two are working on it still).

For reference I can consistently reproduce this on Pixelbook/Eve with scale size set to 70%. I believe this started in M68 and it is still occurring in M69.

This should have been fixed under Issue 843354 It may not have been merged back to M69 however. Let me confirm this.

Just checked, the fix is in M70. Can someone verify that the fix works?

Tested on Eve 71.0.3555.0 and Caroline 70.0.3538.17
Set scale factor to 70% ("looks like 1714x1143").
Set shelf to auto-hide
Can reliably reveal a hidden shelf with mouse.
