Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.92 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. right click console message 2. choose "hide messages from <page>" 3. Page url is added to the filter text field 4. Clearing the text field unhides the messages What is the expected behavior? The list of hidden pages should be maintained separately from the filter text box. Clearing the textbox should not remove things from the list of hidden pages. What went wrong? The filter data and "hidden page" data is all being stored and two-way bound to the text in the text field Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: 69.0.3497.92 Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: If this is now desired behaviour, the UX needs to be improved. A tiny text field is not good enough for managing a persistent list of pages I want to ignore messages from, and providing quick filtering functionality.

Thanks for the report. For this use case, please use the Console sidebar UX, which allows showing only user messages.

> For this use case, please use the Console sidebar UX, which allows showing only user messages. The sidebar only allows you to select by criteria, you cannot define exclusion rules, and you can't combine selection criteria. Additionally, using the sidebar overrides the "log level" settings (the drop down beside the filter box). The selections in the side panel don't persit either. i.e. I cannot do "only show me errors and user messages, but not from page X and Y" |
