Incorrect PIN is accepted 6 times before disabling pinpad |
||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionChromeOS 11021.18.0, 70.0.3538.21 dev-channel eve What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Enable PIN unlock setting from Settings -> People -> Screen lock and sign-in section 2. Lock the screen 3. Using pinpad, enter wrong pin 3 times What is the expected result? Pinpad is disabled and user can unlock using password only. What happens instead? Pinpad is still available and user can enter wrong pin 3 more times (total of 6 wrong pin entries) before pinpad is disabled. Issue not reproducible on M69. jdufault@ to mark as WontFix if this is recent change and is WAI. Thanks!!

Are you able to log in using PIN on that device? Most likely you have been migrated to cryptohome-based PIN

Okay, then you're using cryptohome-based PIN which uses a different set of heuristics for locking the account. |
