Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Launch Browser 2. Confirm that "Always Show Toolbar In Fullscreen" is unchecked. 3. Go Fullscreen and toolbar/tab bar will still be visible. 4. Go to View and enable "Always Show Toolbar In Fullscreen" 5. Go to View and disable "Always Show Toolbar In Fullscreen" 6. Toolbar should roll off top of screen. What is the expected behavior? Toolbar should not be visible if this option is not already checked. What went wrong? Toolbar visible at fullscreen even when option in View menu is not enabled. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 69.0.3497.100 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.13.6 Flash Version:

Works as expected in latest Canary. It actually has the "Always Show Toolbar In Fullscreen" checked by default upon first launch and unchecking that option persists when the app is quit and relaunched. When will this get pushed to stable? I have some "kiosk" computers that need this fix.

Thanks for your feedback. Not sure which issue number could have fixed this, so that I can check it. But you can download Chrome Beta 70 and check, if it will be fixed in the next update from 69->70.

I don't think this is the same issue. What I was experiencing was that upon upgrade from 68 to 69, when I went to fullscreen, the toolbar and tab bar were still showing unless i specifically enabled, then disabled the "always show toolbar in fullscreen" option. When I installed the beta 70 released, this issue did not occur. |
