Regression: [Print Preview] Cursor disappears on typing long text in 'Search Destinations' field.

Issue description

Chrome Version : 71.0.3554.0 (Official Build) 50b24262ba0c4e14c723112f9aad3686dc6462c1-refs/branch-heads/3554@{#1} 32/64 bit
OS : Windows (7, 8, 8.1 ,10), Linux (14.04 LTS), Mac(10.12.6, 10.13.1, 10.14, 10.13.6)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch chrome, navigate to NTP and give print command to open the overlay.
2. Click on change button to open the 'Select a destination' overlay.
3. Change the writing direction to 'Right-to-left' in 'Search Destinations' field.
4. Enter long text in 'Search Destinations' and observe.

Actual Result   : Cursor disappears on typing long text in 'Search Destinations' field.
Expected Result : Cursor should not disappear on typing long text in 'Search Destinations' field.

This is a regression issue broken in ‘M-71’ and below is the per-revision bisect info:
Good Build : 71.0.3551.0 (Revision : 590851)
Bad Build  : 71.0.3552.2 (Revision : 591210)

You are probably looking for a change made after 591108 (known good), but no later than 591109 (first known bad).

CHANGE-LOG URL:

Switching an individual field to RTL when the rest of the UI/browser is in LTR is not expected to be supported. I tested with Chrome in an RTL language and the cursor does not disappear in this case.
