Accent keys stuck on screen after being invoked in tablet mode

> I was using tablet mode, long-pressed on the letter 'i' to bring up the  
alternative options, and now I can't get rid of the 'i' options present at  
the bottom of the screen. I went out of tablet mode back into laptop mode  
and the letters are still there.

I was able to repro this on Pixelbook 70.0.3538.16 (Official Build) dev (64-bit).
The extra options group can be moved around, but are otherwise non-functional.

Bumping this to P1 because it renders the keyboard entirely nonfunctional and it can only be fixed when rebooting.
