Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. download google chrome and follow below-listed command. 2. command 1:https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb 3. command 2:gdebi google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb 4. command 3:google-chrome What is the expected behavior? chrome browser should open. What went wrong? the browser is not getting open and displays the following error. ==>[2736:2736:0915/002515.797294:ERROR:zygote_host_impl_linux.cc(89)] Running as root without --no-sandbox is not supported. Thanks for filing the issue! Unable to reproduce the issue on chrome version 70.0.3538.77 using Ubuntu 14.04 with the steps mentioned in comment#0. We were able to see the chrome getting launched without any error. @Reporter: Could you please let us know if this is specific to Kali linux, any further inputs from your end may be helpful.
