Google properties not working on Chrome Canary on Windows

Project Member Reported by vakh@chromium.org, Sep 13

Issue description

Chrome Version : 71.0.3551.0
OS Version: 10.0
URLs (if applicable) : mail.google.com
Other browsers tested: Works as expected in Chrome Stable.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open mail.google.com
2. Observe the missing logo and icons.

What is the expected result?
The icons for archive, mark read, labels etc should appear. The Gmail logo should appear on the left top.

What happens instead of that?
Whitespace instead of icons. Broken image instead of Gmail logo.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

UserAgentString: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3551.0 Safari/537.36

This has been happening on the Canary release for a few days now across 5 different profiles.

Thanks for the report!

This could be a regression from having enabled the Network Service.

Can you try disabling it to confirm whether that was that cause?

chrome://flags/#network-service
Oddly enough, it works in 71.0.3552.2 so close?
The experiment is only turned on 50% of the time, so you might have just gotten lucky after restarting in new version.

Can you use chrome://flags/#network-service to set it to "Enabled", and see if it still works?
Tried setting chrome://flags/#network-service to "Enabled", still can't repro.
(This is likely a dupe of Issue 879883, if it was fixed in 71.0.3552.2)

I have the similar problem that Google properties not working on Chrome Canary on Windows. I am really upset. I have tried a lot to fix it. Even I have visited link http://www.outlooktechnicalsupportnumbers.com/
but nothing works. I have tried your way but I have still a problem. What should I do?
If disabling network service per comment #3 has no effect, or you are on a version of Chrome >= 71.0.3552.2, then it is a different problem from this bug. In which case please file a new bug with details.
