Chrome crashes under certain canvas operations

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to https://pskreporter.info/pskmap (holding the phone in portait mode)
2. Then wait for page to load (a map)
3. Rotate the phone into landscape

You may need to rotate the phone a number of times

What is the expected behavior?
It doesn't crash -- the map is displayed correctly landscape mode

What went wrong?
It crashed. 

Crashed report ID: 

How much crashed? Just one tab

Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A 

Did this work before? Yes 68

Chrome version: 69.0.3497.91  Channel: stable
OS Version: 9.0.0
Flash Version:

Thanks for filing the bug. Could you also go to chrome://crashes and share the crash report id? That gives us a lot of helpful info for debugging.

I can repro this on 69, its an OOM crash.

09-14 19:39:23.538 12469 12483 F chromium: [FATAL:memory.cc(22)] Out of memory. size=87007232

But not on 70.0.3538.15.

The crash report above has no stack trace. I think this can be a WontFix, since its probably too late for getting a fix out in 69. Since this seems to be a canvas issue, assigning to fserb@ to understand what fixed it for 70.

this is an OOM crash due to a change in how we handle caching. Unfortunately, there's nothing much we can do here.
