Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10718.88.2) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.118 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10718.88.2 (Official Build) stable-channel snappy Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Download a GIF from the internet 2. Open Profile picture settings 3. Rename to *.jpg as images in *.gif format won't even display in selection menu. What is the expected behavior? Since there already is a choice of a few pre-installed animated profile pictures, I would expect for GIFs to work as well. What went wrong? Only the first frame of the GIF is displayed as the profile picture. Did this work before? Yes I have no idea which version it was, but have seen people setting GIFs as profile pictures in the past. Chrome version: 68.0.3440.118 Channel: stable OS Version: 10718.88.2 Flash Version: 30.0.0.134 This video shows someone setting a GIF as their profile picture: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIMhiiqfyNQ |
