Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3549.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Enable hide-steady-state-url-scheme. 1. Visit an affected URL 2. Focus the omnibox 3. Press right, end, or ctrl+e What is the expected behavior? Cursor should be at the end of the URL What went wrong? Cursor ends up somewhere near the middle I think the conditions are: - Must be HTTPS (which is being hidden) - Must have a trivial path of "/", and chrome must decide to show the / instead of leaving it off. I'm not sure what the conditions are for the second one, but I think it's some sort of "doesn't look like an internet domain". All of the following exhibit this behavior "https://crbug.com80000" "https://ai" "https://ai." "https://example.invalid123" "https://wiki.corp/" These all happen to show error pages for me, so I can't tell if that's necessary. Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: 71.0.3549.0 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.13.6 Flash Version:

I can reproduce this on Windows Canary by following the example in the video in #2. |
