Launch chrome,navigate to above URL and add extension. 2. Navigate to ETS PDF from URL2. 3. Click on extension in omnibox for printing PDF. 4. Observe print preview overlay. Actual Result:Error is observed 'www.ets.org refused to connect' while printing the ETS PDF through extension. Expected Result: No such error should be seen while printing ETS PDF. This is a Non-regression issue seen from M-60 build #60.0.3072.0 Kindly review the attached screen-cast for reference. Thank you.

This is an extension issue from the looks of it, not an issue with the PDF viewer plugin. Sending over to to the Extensions component for triage.

I'd file a bug or send feedback to the extension developer. /cc ekaramad in case there's a mime-handler-view related issue going on.

This is a CSP issue; and not a bug. The ETS site does not allow embedding. Perhaps the extension should use a <webview> instead? Inspecting the background page: Refused to display 'https://www.ets.org/Media/Tests/GRE/pdf/gre_research_validity_data.pdf' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'. I verified on a local server that the extension works fine if there are no CSP and X-frame option limitations. I am marking this as Won't Fix. |
