Cannot use chromium with devicePixelRatio=1

Reported by paolobe...@gmail.com, Sep 11

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/68.0.3440.106 Chrome/68.0.3440.106 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.Load any page
2. f12 and go to the console
3. get devicePixelRatio

What is the expected behavior?
I'd expect to get 1

What went wrong?
I get 1.2000000476837158.

Consequently, images from sites which do not correct things according to this value are shown blurry

Did this work before? Yes I don't know. On my system I begun having this issue one month ago

Chrome version: 68.0.3440.106 Channel: stable
OS Version: 18.04

paolobenve@ Thanks for the issue.

Tested this issue on Ubuntu 17.10 and Windows 10 on the latest Stable 69.0.3497.92 and Canary 71.0.3549.0 and unable to reproduce the issue by following the steps given above.
On entering 'devicePixelRatio' in Devtools -> Console, can observe the output as 1.
Attached is the screen shot for reference.

Request you to retry the issue by updating chrome to the latest Stable 69.0.3497.92 and update the thread with the observations.

Thanks..

ok, I'm wondering if I could have modified some preference without realizing it... is there any preference related to the issue?

Is it possible that devicePixelRatio is raised when the screen resolution is above a certain threshold? I have another pc with a smaller screen and devicePixelRatio is 1

Chrome 69.0.3497.92 has the same issue

my resolution is 2560x1440. Another pc whose screen is smaller hasn't this issue
I realized that it's not a bug, because opening chromium in another use on the same pc doesn't present this issue.

Must be an issue with some setting I changed.

Can be closed
