Cannot interact with hangouts

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 11021.5.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.7 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open the app from the chrome os drawer
2. Attempting to click on anything
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
The extension responds.

What went wrong?
It does not seem to be doing anything. It only responds to closing it and resizing it.

This stopped working when I was upgraded to version 70. It is also not limited to hangouts. I am also unable to use my lastpass extension as all of its overlays are non interactable.

I was having this issue as well however I can no longer reproduce on 70.0.3538.16. Are you still encountering this problem?

I was able to interact with hangouts a little last night but this morning I am again unable to interact with hangouts. I am running:
Version 70.0.3538.16 (Official Build) dev (64-bit)

I also have hangouts installed as an android app and i can interact with that. Also if it helps I have linux apps enabled but I did not and do not currently have any running at the same time I am trying to use hangouts.
