Color animation doesn't end around buttons - they stay with grey background |

Tested the issue in Android and able to reproduce the issue. Steps Followed: Enabled chrome Duet flag from chrome://flags (1) Clicked on tab switcher icon (2) Clicked on + button to open tab -- observed focus on search icon Chrome versions tested: 70.0.3538.2, 71.0.3549.0 OS: Android 8.0.0 Android Devices: Samsung Note8 Issue is seen from introduction of "+" icon at bottom toolbar i.el from M-70, hence considering this as Non-Regression and marking as Untriaged for further inputs. Are you talking about the ripple animation when you click on a bottom bar button? I'm not sure if that's Working As Intended, adding Matt who should know.

it's not working as intended, in some cases it just ends with incorrect color (too early?) and user see shadow.

This issue occurs on any button with ripple (and has been a problem on tablet for years). Last time I tried to look into it, it looked like an android framework bug. I'll try to find the other bug.
