Esc key no longer defocuses address bar |

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.81 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. cmd+L 2. Esc What is the expected behavior? Defocus address bar, allow for keyboard keys to work on page (e.g. scroll up and down with arrow keys, activate Vimium extension) What went wrong? Functionality changed from previous versions. No longer possible to exit address bar without a mouse click. Presents potential accessibility issues for users reliant on keyboard input. Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: 69.0.3497.81 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.13.6 Flash Version:

Probably related to issue 776080.

+1, confirmed. I see in both Canary and on Windows 68.0.3440.106, so also +1 that it's related to 776080 as mehmet@ suggests.

For the record, you can "tab" into the web contents after pressing escape. |
