Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10718.88.2) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.118 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10718.88.2 (Official Build) stable-channel eve Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Select some text 2. Middle click into a text entry box What is the expected behavior? The selected text is pasted where the middle click occurred. What went wrong? No pasting, and I can find no option to enable this behavior. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 68.0.3440.118 Channel: stable OS Version: 10718.88.2 Flash Version: This feature is essential to my workflow.

I don't believe this has ever been supported on Chrome OS.

Then it sounds like this is a Feature Request for Chrome OS rather than a bug in datatransfer (the blink plumbing for copy/paste and drag/drop web APIs). What's the best component for this?
