blank result on search bar

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.132 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. go to google.com 
2. type something like this info://google.com?; you can 
 type anything instead of google like info://abcd.com?;  
3. result will will be blank display .

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
as a user i was looking for information related to to y subject but the the search result contain blank display it is disturbing 

Did this work before? N/A

Status: Untriaged (was: Unconfirmed)
Able to reproduce the issue on Mac 10.13.3, Win-10 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome latest stable #69.0.3497.100 and latest canary #72.0.3581.0.
This is a non-regression issue as it is observed from M60 old builds. 

Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team.
