In Australia, Omnibox using Google Ukraine (.com.ua) and not Australia (.com.au)

Reported by chris.lo...@gmail.com, Sep 7

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.106 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
As a Chrome User in Australia with Search Engine set to "Google"...
1. Enter text into the Omnibox (e.g. 'test')
2. Press enter/return

What is the expected behavior?
Google Australia search results for the entered keyword, e.g. https://www.google.com.au/search?q=test

What went wrong?
Chrome is using the wrong domain - Google.com.ua (Ukraine) - for search results, e.g. https://www.google.com.ua/search?q=test

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 68.0.3440.106 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version:

I'm in Australia and can't reproduce this.

You may have something bad configured somewhere in between you and Google that's making it look like you're in Ukraine? I've never seen or heard of this happening.

Is this still an issue for you? If so, I'll ask for some more information and report it upstream to Google.
