Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10575.58.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.99 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10718.88.2 (Official Build) stable-channel cave Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Close Chromebook lid 2. Chromebook action would either logout or go to sleep What is the expected behavior? To be able to set the Chromebook to do nothing, to not go to sleep or to not logout when Chromebook lid is closed. What went wrong? Some apps used on the Chromebook disconnects or stop working when Chromebook goes to sleep. Chromebook goes to sleep when lid is closed. They're using Port Replicators and Citrix and they disconnects when Chromebook goes to sleep. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 68.0.3440.118 Channel: stable OS Version: 10575.58.0 Flash Version: "Sleep when lid is closed" can be turned off manually using personal Gmail accounts. It should also be available on G Suite accounts.

to add additional context, we use port replicators and when users close the lid and plug the usb port replicator in the Chromebook has already gone to sleep and all the Citrix connections have disconnected. Thanks

Implementing this feature seems not facorable from a security view. @mnissler to check.

This is not a security issue. I can make the screen lock when the user is inactive, this is simply to enable the feature a @gmail.com user already has access to.

Hi team, do we have any update on this feature? I hope we can get an ETA. Our customer is asking if we have plans in implementing this feature. |
