The way these are logged isn't quite right. Sometimes OutputStream calls |created_callback| with nullptr to indicate failure to create the stream, but also gets destructed which will generate a disconnect signal for |observer_|. These are on separate message pipes which means that their order is not guaranteed. I'll take a look at exactly what's going on and how to fix it, but I don't expect the impact to be large.
