Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. switch to an unsynced profile What is the expected behavior? it should be easy to tell windows from different profiles apart What went wrong? in chrome 69 the profile name is hidden, only a hover tool-tip over the profile icon reveals the name Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 69.0.3497.81 Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Showing the profile name should be a supported option, not a flag that could be removed (chrome://flags/#top-chrome-md)

Able to reproduce the issue on win-10, mac 10.13.3 and ubuntu 17.10 using latest stable #69.0.3497.100 and latest canary #71.0.3559.0. The issue is seen from M-67, when the flag #top-chrome-md = refresh was introduced. Hence, marking it as untriaged as it seems to be a non-regression issue from M-67 and requesting some one from UI>Browser>Profiles team to please have a look into the issue. Thanks...!!

You should be able to distinguish between different profiles by using different Chrome avatars (which you can select for each profile in chrome://settings/manageProfile). Can you explain how that doesn't satisfy your need here?

> You should be able to distinguish between different profiles by using different Chrome avatars' So you think a soccer-ball, or ninja or colored silhouette is an adequate replacement for a descriptive word? |
