Chrome version: 70.0.3538.9 (Official Build)Revision bbaf922671f0864634145724488000061f98a1a3-refs/branch-heads/3538@{#72} (32/64 Bit).

OS: Mac(10.12.6, 10.13.1, 10.13.6, 10.14).

Steps to reproduce:
1.Launch chrome and open NTP.
2.Right click on google text-box and select 'Emojis & Symbols' from context menu.
3.Click on 'Arrow' option from the list on LHS and select '1-2' arrow symbols. (selected arrow symbols should be seen in the omnibox)
4.Click on 'Emoji' option from the list on LHS and select '2-3' smiley emojis. (selected emoji should be seen in the omnibox)
5.Observe the arrow icons in omnibox.

Actual Result: 'Arrow' symbols turns into square in omnibox after selecting '2-3' smiley emoji.
Expected Result: 'Arrow' symbols should not turn into square icon 

This is Non-Regression issue seen from ‘M-67’ series, build #67.0.3390.0 (since,'emojis and symbols' features was introduced).

Note: 1. Issue is not reproducible on Linux(14.04 LTS), Windows (7,8,8.1,10) OS. 
      2. Issue is also seen on latest Canary build #71.0.3544.0
