Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open a bunch of tabs
2. Go to one of them
3. Focus on the location bar (Cmd+L)
4. Hit the Right key to cancel the selection in the location bar and move the caret to the right
4. Hit Alt-Shift-Left

What is the expected behavior?
The text's selection region in the location bar will change according to OS text selection rules (Alt+Shift+Left should move the selection Caret left, selecting the word that's under it)

What went wrong?
Instead of selecting the text, the Tab is moving left.
