Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.81 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. The problem occurs every-time, when chrome running in background and draining power when I press X to temporary close but fully quit. 2. Loaded webpages or not 3. What is the expected behavior? The behavior is I'm seeing chrome subframe running in the background while chrome in use and not in use. The subframe is draining my macbook pro battery and using CPU resources. What went wrong? I've opened to two webpages in separate tabs. An estore.honda.com & ebay.com This is also happened when no webpage opens. When chrome running in background, when I minimize or running behind an application the chrome is still using resources and draining power. When I investigate, I've found out from Chrome Task Manager that I see alot's of subframes using the resources. I would like to point out that this issues occurs on Stable release too. I think, the chrome is not going to powernap to save power. Please Google fix this issue. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 69.0.3497.81 Channel: beta OS Version: OS X 10.13.6 Flash Version: Regarding to this I've report this issue multiple times through Help>Report an issue... and provided screenshot but not seeing any improvements.

soham.mistry25@ Thanks for the issue. Tested this issue on Mac OS 10.13.3 and Windows 10 on the reported version 69.0.3497.81 and the latest Canary 71.0.3544.2 and unable to reproduce the issue by following the below steps. 1. Launched Chrome and navigated to http://estore.honda.com/ and http://ebay.com/ in two tabs. 2. Minimized chrome for a while and navigated to Activity Monitor. COuldn't observe any draining of power and also couldn't observe any subframes in Chrome Task Manager. Attached are the screen shots for reference. Request you to check and confirm if anything is missed from our end in triaging the issue. Also request you to retry the issue on a new chrome profile without any flags/extensions and update the thread with the observations. Thanks..
