Issue description

Chrome Version: <From about:version: Google Chrome 67.0.3396.99>
Chrome OS Version: <From about:version: Platform 10575.58.0>
Chrome OS Platform: < SAMSUNG XE303C12>

Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add
the label below).

Steps To Reproduce:
(1) ctrl+alt+t
(2) Crosh the open (Chrome OS developer shell.)
(3) For exemple, find comand ping (press continuos ctrl+p until I find command), there may be problems with other commands.
(4) define website to ping

Expected Result:  view result for website

Actual Result: Ok, with visual errors, press backspace the line of result in more right, press enter the line of result and skep another line. There is no stop command for ping results.

How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to
reproduce?) Always

What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it? No have solution, close the window.

log if possible.

i'm not seeing a bug here.  if you type things on the keyboard, it's going to mess up the output.  this is how terminals work.

if you want to halt commands, you use Ctrl-C like a normal terminal session.

if you're trying to describe something else, please add more details for exactly what you're doing.
