CCA - Accessibility - Recording stopped and recording started alert |

Issue descriptionChrome Version: 70.0.3532.8 CCA 5.2 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Launch CCA (2) Switch to video recording mode (3) Turn on ChromeVox (4) Start recording a video (5) Stop recording a video What is the expected result? When you start the recording you would hear "Recording started" Stopping recording would What happens instead? When you start the recording, you hear "Stop recording". When you stop a recording you hear "Start recording" We had a similar issue with GCA that Jasmine helped with.

Hi Trevor, We have sent out the string translation request and it will take 1.5 weeks. Resolving this issue requires a string change and would cause the translation process to start over again. In order to launch CCA in mid Sep, I would like to punt it to next release.

I've made CCA speak 'Recording started' and 'Recording stopped' for video recording but found 'Recording started' would also be recorded. I'd suggest CCA only speak 'Recording stopped' after done recording video to avoid spoken feedback being recorded unexpectedly?

Checked with Laura on this Let's only say "recording stopped" and not include "recording started".

#8: CCA would only say "recording stopped" without "recording started". allendam@, Did you hear "recording stopped" after stopping recording? Or you heard ChromeVox announced content from other background windows instead? (Sometimes we might need to force ChromeVox only announcing CCA by press-tab-key-to-focus-CCA and avoid ChromeVox announcing content from the background windows.) Thanks.

1. when the "Start recording" button is in focus, press the Space bar to activate. I heard "Stop recording" instead of "Start recording" 2. when I press the Space bar again to activate to stop recording, I heard "Recording stop"

#17 is WAI. 1. After recording is started by pressing space-bar on the shutter button, the shutter button becomes 'Stop recording' button and should be announced by screen reader. 2. "Recording started" won't be announced to avoid it being recorded into the video clip but "Recording stopped" will be announced after recording is stopped. (please refer to #8.) Thanks.
