Missing and flashing content during hover and scroll |
||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 69.0.3497.81 (Official Build) (64-bit) OS: MacOS 10.13.6 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Go to framer.com/x (2) Scroll to the bottom of the page What is the expected result? The background is black. What happens instead? The background is white. Hovering over the links will selectively repaint some areas to be black. Switching from and back to the tab will make the whole background black. Scrolling the footer offscreen and back onscreen will make the background white again. Other notes It is reproducible in new tabs in my corp profile, but not in my personal profile. Monorail won't accept a 35MB attachment, so here's a link to the video on Drive instead: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1F6w6uSgrVoCQw2RDNr88ScTAYnacFK2v/

I'm seeing some strange painting issues as well on Canary 70.0.3535.4. Adding Blink>Compositing.

Looks to me like we can't get content up fast enough, at least on 70.0.3534.0 Mac. Sending to GPU scheduling first.

Brenton: did this work in a previous version of Chrome to your knowledge?

I believe it did. I've definitely been on that site before; I feel like I would have noticed if it was broken. Not sure if their codebase has changed in the interim though.

Does this happen with latest M69 stable version 69.0.3497.92? We fixed some image cache memory leaks that might be related. |
