iframe embedded in .html file causes window to go blank until resizing the window

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_2) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.106 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: I have attached a test.html. In there, it is a bare-bones HTML when an iframe tag in it. The source of the iframe is an URL to my public GitHub page: https://bluk16.github.io/test/index. And my GitHub page is a simple page with an input field (see index.html). This is essentially the content of the iframe 1. download test.html 2. open test.html in Chrome in incognito mode 3. You will see a input field in an iframe 4. Select in the input field and type a few letters 5. after about 4 seconds, you will see the whole window will be blank 6. If you resize the window, the content will reappear If you don't want to open the iframe for security reason, please host this code in a different domain: <!doctype html> <html> <body> <input type="text"> </body> </html> What is the expected behavior? window should not go blank What went wrong? After inputting into an input field about 4 seconds, you will see the whole window will be blank Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 68.0.3440.106 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.13.2 Flash Version: This is affecting our company's login page. Can you please investigate and fix the issue.

Unable to reproduce the issue on chrome reported version# 68.0.3440.106 using Mac 10.12.6 and Mac 10.13.1 with steps mentioned below: 1) Launched chrome reported version and opened incognito mode, dragged and dropped the '.html' file provided in comment# 0 2) Selected the input field and typed few letters, didn't observed any disappear of the text in the input field @Reporter: Please find the attached screencast for your reference, provide your feedback on it which help in further triaging it. Try to test this issue by creating new person with no apps and extensions in it or test the issue on latest chrome# 69.0.3497.81, you can download latest chrome stable from URL: https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel. Hi, Thanks for responding and testing. You might have to press tab after waiting for 4 seconds.. but if I open a second tab and goes through the same steps to reproduce, you should be able to reproduce. Unable to reproduce the issue on chrome reported version# 68.0.3440.106 and on latest chrome stable# 69.0.3497.81 using Mac 10.12.6, 10.13.1, 10.13.3 and 10.13.6 with steps mentioned below: 1) Launched chrome reported version and opened incognito mode, dragged and dropped the '.html' file provided in comment# 0 2) Selected the input field and typed few letters, waited for 4 seconds and pressed Tab, just focused got changed and didn't observed disappear of text in the input field @Reporter: Please find the attached screencast for your reference, provide your feedback on it which help in further triaging it. As stable to got rolled out to M-69(69.0.3497.81), try to test it on latest stable and let us know if the issue still persists and if this issue is specific to Mac 10.13.2. I have updated to the latest stable on the same machine (Mac OS 10.13.2) and the bug is now not reproducible. updated chrome version test.mov <https://drive.google.com/a/trade.it/file/d/13W2N7EhZjwqTAA2HyyaBmPCrP1VhGM9K/view?usp=drive_web>
