The following revision refers to this bug:

commit 05ecf99c77cb8f76366ef504845a4e7bc761c7be
Author: Joel Einbinder <einbinder@chromium.org>
Date: Tue Oct 09 17:14:57 2018

DevTools: Don't start editing the selector if there is a selection

If the user is trying to select the text of a css selector, we should
not interrupt them by editing the selector. This is consistent with
what we do for css properties.
