Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.106 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Surf to webpage 2. Open devtools 3. Use left mouse button to select some selectors What is the expected behavior? The text should be selected What went wrong? The text is not selected. A caret is placed after the text and it seems possible to input some text there. Did this work before? purginator@ Thanks for the issue. Tested this issue on Windows 10 on the reported version 68.0.3440.106 and the latest Canary 71.0.3543.0 and unable to reproduce the issue by following the below steps. 1. Launched Chrome and navigated to the web page. 2. Opened Devtools and was able to select the text by clicking on the left mouse button. Attached is the screen cast for reference. Request you to check and confirm if anything is missed from our end in triaging the issue. Also request you to provide a screen cast of the steps followed, which will be helpful in better understanding of the issue. Thanks..

Tested this issue on Windows 10 on the reported version 68.0.3440.106 and unable to reproduce the issue by following the below steps. 1. Launched Chrome and navigated to wikipedia page. 2. Navigated to Devtools -> Styles tab and tried selecting the text using the left mouse button. 3. The text is selected and on releasing the mouse key, the text is still selected and cannot see any blinking cursor on the next line.
