Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.106 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open Chrome 2. Go to website with AdSense ads e.g YouTube 3. Chrome will freeze anytime What is the expected behavior? Chrome should not not hang! What went wrong? Chromes freezes, Freezes the whole system too. Did this work before? Thanks for filing the issue! Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 68.0.3440.106 Using Ubuntu 14.04 and Ubuntu 17.10 with the below mentioned steps. 1. Launched Chrome 2. Navigated to https://www.youtube.com/ 3. Played a random video. We have neither observed chrome freeze not system freeze. Note: Currently we do not have Ubuntu 18.04, to test and conform the issue on mentioned OS version. @Reporter: Could you please check the same in a new profile without any apps & extensions and let us know if the issue still persists. It would be helpful if mentioned whether this is specific to version 18.04. Any further inputs from end may be helpful. |
