Linux_ChromiumOS_Full snapshots missing important files |
|||||||
Issue descriptionI just tried downloading: https://www.googleapis.com/download/storage/v1/b/chromium-browser-snapshots/o/Linux_ChromiumOS_Full%2F588160%2Fchrome-linux.zip?alt=media Files missing include: libminigbm.so keyboard_resources.pak Even then, it fails with errors like: # Fatal error in , line 0 # Check failed: (i_isolate->snapshot_blob()) == nullptr.

As far as I can tell, this is just a configuration issue. https://cs.chromium.org/chromium/src/chrome/tools/build/chromeos/FILES.cfg?sq=package:chromium&g=0 looks like it controls what files a chromeos build archives in zip files. So maybe you just need to add to that. I'm not really familiar with this though, so I could be wrong. It looks like it gets changed semi frequently, so maybe this file does matter. cc-ing some people, can you confirm this?

OK, I'll tried adding it to FILES.cfg here: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1222688

The download now seems to get passed the missing files part. However, when I run chrome it says "error while loading shared libraries: libminigbm.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

@bpastene - can you take a look at this?

Was this fixed w/ bug 789612 ? Or are the snapshots still broken in some way?

An update. The latest snapshot seems to work. I'm no longer getting the same issues from comment 7.

K, closing this. Reopen if something's still broken. |
