Issue description

M-70 feedback from the dogfooders.

The launcher has a slight bounce when opening.

Status: WontFix (was: Untriaged)

I think this refers to the issue where we immediately set search box and other UI components to target location upon finger release during dragging. The reason we were doing so is for animation smoothness optimization. So I think this is wont-fix?
