What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Create an element where overflowing text is clipped by ellipsis
(2) Check the innerText property of the element

What is the expected result?

innerText is not affected by ellipsis

What happens instead?

innerText is affected by ellipsis. The overflowing part is absent.
