All Linux GUI Applications are failing to render after 70.0.3532.8

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Launch any Linux GUI Application via CLI or Launcher

What is the expected behavior?
The application should launch

What went wrong?
The application launches with a faded out window. (See screenshot)

Chrome version: 70.0.3532.8  Channel: dev
OS Version: 11005.1.0

This should not have been merged and closed, as this patch did not get pushed to devices. I am told I am up-to-date, even though it's still broken.

Hi, is there an update on when this will be patched ? I can confirm that I am seeing this issue and that has broken my entire workflow on the pixelbook.
